Our 2018 Megavent in Glastonbury, UK
The Avalon Experience for the infinite Source Collective
Join us for our 2018 Megavent, where our grads come together to do big work for the world / universe. We'll trek up the Tor together, wander the beautiful Chalice Well Gardens, visit the Abbey Ruins and the magical shops. Expect great chats over meals at the Rainbow Cafe, Excalibur and the Hundred Monkeys while we exhilarate the Infinite You / Us and do the newest consciousness creation work together.
Arrive Friday afternoon and depart Sunday afternoon with a two (or three) night stay at a place of your choosing. If you're travelling by train, take the train to Castle Cary and then a taxi from there to Glastonbury. If you're flying in from Europe, take a flight to Bristol Airport (an hour away by bus) or Gatwick Airport (3 hours by train). Accommodation
The Glastonbury Tourist Information provides a good overview of accommodation options in town.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bristol Airportt. which is 1.5 hours from Glastonbury by bus. The 376 bus service goes between Bristol and Glastonbury every half hour.
Gatwick Airport is a three hour train journey to Castle Cary. Heathrow is about the same but requires a trip into London first. Stansted Airport is about 5 hours by train to Glastonbury. The nearest train stations are Bristol Temple Meads and Castle Cary. There are only taxis between Glastonbury and Castle Cary - cost approx. £25. Berrys Coaches offers a daily service between Glastonbury and London, stopping at some places along the way. The National Express Coaches also go between London's Victoria Station and Bristol Temple Meads train and bus station. |
Things to Do
The Glastonbury Tor is a sacred site with amazing energy and fabulous views for miles around. The Chalice Well Gardens are beautiful and a wonderful place to do big work together. The Abbey Ruins are mystical and filled with light. And the shops in Glastonbury are magical every single one. It's an unusual and awesome place, like no other in the world.
